Assistant Cafe Manager

We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Assistant Cafe Manager to support the Cafe Manager in managing daily cafe operations. The ideal candidate will assist in supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food quality and hygiene standards, monitoring inventory, and achieving sales targets. The role requires strong communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced cafe environment.

• 1–3 years of experience in cafe, restaurant, hospitality, or food & beverage operations.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team-lead role preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good leadership and team-management abilities.
• Basic knowledge of billing, cash handling, and inventory management.
• Ability to manage staff schedules and daily operations.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Assist the Cafe Manager in managing daily operations.
• Supervise and coordinate cafe staff during shifts.
• Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer complaints.
• Manage staff schedules, attendance, and shift allocation.
• Monitor food and beverage quality and presentation.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Monitor stock, inventory, and daily supplies.
• Assist with billing, cash handling, and daily sales reports.
• Train and guide new staff members.
• Coordinate between kitchen and service teams.
• Help achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
• Manage opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain records of sales, stock, and operational activities.
• Handle day-to-day issues in the absence of the Cafe Manager.
