OT Technician

Indra Hospital is looking for a skilled and responsible OT Technician to assist doctors and nursing staff during surgical and operative procedures. The candidate will be responsible for preparing the operation theatre, maintaining sterile conditions, arranging surgical instruments and equipment, and ensuring smooth OT operations.

• Diploma/degree in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or a relevant qualification.
• Previous hospital/OT experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization, and OT procedures.
• Strong attention to hygiene and infection control.
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently during surgical procedures.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts when required.

• Prepare the operation theatre before scheduled procedures.
• Arrange and check surgical instruments, equipment, and required supplies.
• Assist surgeons, doctors, and nursing staff during procedures.
• Maintain strict sterile and infection-control practices.
• Ensure proper sterilization and handling of surgical instruments.
• Check the availability and functioning of OT equipment.
• Maintain OT records, checklists, and procedure-related documentation.
• Assist with patient preparation and positioning as directed by medical staff.
• Dispose of medical waste safely according to hospital protocols.
• Clean and prepare the OT after each procedure.
• Report equipment shortages, faults, or other issues to the concerned authority.
